GIVE: Holiday Food Campaign 2022
As part of a county-wide food support program, we provide emergency food to qualified
Alameda County residents.
We provide nutritious foods to at-risk families in the San Lorenzo, Ashland, Cherryland and Hayward areas of Alameda County.
Through our Food Rescue and Recovery Program, we provide a distribution channel for valuable
food that would otherwise be discarded.
Currently we are providing food support to more families than at any period in the past.
With the Holiday gatherings approaching, we recognize that the cost of a celebration meal is beyond reach for most lower income earners, seniors or the unemployed.
San Lorenzo Family Help Center is asking for your help to provide holiday meals, and for continued financial support for the food distribution program in 2023.
We are a village community and we support the village through volunteer opportunities for Youth and college students, continuing part time work for seniors and community service hours to excuse court fees for minor infractions.
Please consider becoming a regular donor and be a part of creating a sustainable and equitable food support program.
