We are a village community and we support the village through volunteer opportunities for high school and college students, continued part time work experiences for retired individuals and community service to excuse court fees for minor infractions.

Message from the President
We are happy to welcome you to the San Lorenzo Family Help Center (SLFHC). Your work as a volunteer will help us to fulfill our mission to provide food to low-income residents in the unincorporated area of Alameda County.
The SLFHC is a private, non-affiliated, non-profit overseen by a board of directors composed of community volunteers.
We couldn’t possibly provide the needed services without the hard work of over 100 dedicated volunteers. You will be joining a wonderful group of people whose ongoing goal is to defeat hunger in Alameda County. Welcome to the San Lorenzo Family Help Center!
